Mark Templeton is the latest recruit to the Blum UK team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and explains why it is that he’s so enthused about his new career move.

“I started in the kitchen industry May 1985 as a trainee designer. I spent the next 25 years in showroom sales and design, joining the team at Blum UK January 2015 as their CSR for Northern Ireland and Scotland. Since starting my new role I have embarked on an 18 month training programme, learning the extensive Blum range of products, the company history and our ethics behind which we conduct our business, and I am really looking forward to working for Blum for many years to come.

“I have always thought of Blum as being the number one manufacturer and provider to the kitchen industry when it comes to drawers, hinges and lift-ups. The name Blum on any product has always meant quality for me, giving any retailer confidence in selling that Blum product and also peace of mind to the end user in knowing that the furniture they have just purchased contains Blum components which are guaranteed for the lifetime of the furniture.

Mark Templeton outlines what he thinks his role will be: “the key role of a Blum CSR is to promote the company’s products and services. The responsibilities include visiting Blum customers, reporting of customer visits, provide technical support to our customers and generate new business.
