PWS has put the spotlight on its Kesseböhmer product portfolio, strengthening the offer and making it more straightforward for manufacturers and retailers to specify and order.

As the UK’s exclusive distributor for market-leading Kesseböhmer, for 16 years, PWS has an in-depth understanding of the trends for storage solutions and have focused its expertise to enhance its range.

In line with the trend for organised and efficient storage, the Kesseböhmer portfolio has grown significantly in recent years, with many new designs and features being introduced.

Whilst an extensive product range offered retailers a great choice it also led to unnecessary complexity in the ordering and specification process.

The decision was taken to completely review the options available and create a more coherent range.

The result is an offer that includes the three key specifications of classic, arena and style available in all the main products and sizes. Some poor-performing products have been withdrawn but this is balanced with the introduction of several new options to enhance the range.

Improvements have also been made to the full offer, with investment in new photography for better and clearer presentation in print and online, with the dedicated 84m2 display area in the PWS Design Centre being fully updated. In addition, to help installers, practical fitting videos have been produced of the key storage products, such as the magic corner, pull-out larder and LeMans.

The fitting benefits of Kesseböhmer are immense, including simplified assembly and easy adjustment of fittings with many products assembled without tools using snap-on connections. New product labels feature QR codes to the videos, so if fitters have any queries on site they can quickly view the films – the videos are on vimeo.com/user31962047/videos

Andrew Langford, marketing manager at PWS, comments: “Kesseböhmer is a very important product category for us and the pattern of UK demographics, with an ageing population, suggests ergonomic storage solutions will only become more popular.

Also as the average size of UK homes is shrinking, people are increasingly looking to streamline their storage by maximising every opportunity in their kitchens. In creating a more coherent and better communicated offer, our aim is to deliver a market-leading range and, in turn, simplify the planning, purchasing and fitting of Kesseböhmer products.”

PWS is also working closely with Articad to develop a system to make it as easy as possible for kitchen designers to include Kesseböhmer in their kitchen plans. This will be done by clicking on a particular cabinet and being presented with a list of compatible Kesseböhmer products.

In addition to the enhancements to the range and its presentation, PWS has also recruited Lisa Blumenstock, as a dedicated Kesseböhmer product manager. Lisa is responsible for analysing sales and working alongside retailers on best display and marketing practice.

Kesseböhmer, like PWS, is a family-owned business and takes pride in manufacturing high-quality storage systems that unite a powerful blend of design and function. All Kesseböhmer’s products are manufactured in Germany and strenuously independently tested to ensure a lifetime of trouble-free service.
