Occupational Awards has been working closely with the furniture industry to develop a suite of new qualifications at Level 2.
These qualifications cover a range of occupations within the industry, including for the first time Bed Making, Modern Furniture Service Repair and Foam Conversion and Upholstery Cushion Interior Manufacture.
These new qualifications include all the skills and knowledge required to work in the industry including important skills for the future.
The new qualifications are:
– OAL Level 2 NVQ in Bed Making
– OAL Level 2 NVQ in Finishing Furniture
– OAL Level 2 NVQ in Fitted Furniture Installation
– OAL Level 2 NVQ in Foam Conversion and Upholstery Cushion Interior Manufacture
– OAL Level 2 NVQ in Furniture CNC Technician
– OAL Level 2 NVQ in Furniture Making
– OAL Level 2 NVQ in Furniture Restoration
– OAL Level 2 NVQ in Modern Furniture Service Repair
– OAL Level 2 NVQ in Modern Upholstery
– OAL Level 2 NVQ in Woodmachining
– OAL Level 2 in Understanding the Furniture, Furnishings & Interiors Industry
