Three family-owned companies with a united passion for innovative interior design solutions join together for the first common brand experience of EGGER, CLEAF and Blum.

Situated on Dallington Street, in the heart of London’s design district Clerkenwell, the inspirational interiors showroom is set to open its doors in the Autumn. Led by EGGER, the partnered space will provide a hub of creativity, design inspiration, material education and more, attracting architects, interior designers and specifiers from all over the world.

EGGER is a global manufacturer of a wide portfolio of materials for the interior design, furniture and construction industries, including decorative faced panels, lacquered panels, laminates, edging, worktops, decorative flooring and structural flooring. A family business founded in 1961 under the ethos of wood being too valuable to throw away, EGGER began producing chipboard from sawmill by-products, creating a market for this waste product and diverting it from landfill or biomass. EGGER prides itself on its carbon retaining and recyclable materials and continues to hold environmentalism at the heart of its operations today.

CLEAF is an Italian, family-owned company producing innovative surfaces for furniture and interiors, founded in 1975 by Luciano Caspani, with father Agostino and brother Fausto. CLEAF is synonymous with high-end products renowned for their exceptional texture design and tactile innovation. CLEAF’s faced panels, laminates and edging, exclusively manufactured at production sites in Brianza, are installed worldwide by architects and companies building inspirational spaces for living and working.

Building on a decades-long relationship between the owning families, Egger and Caspani, the two companies commenced joint projects in 2019. The Egger family now owns 27.5% of CLEAF.

Blum is a global manufacturer of innovative fittings and technical solutions for furniture and interiors and is market-leading in the manufacture of products including hinge systems, runners, lift systems and motion technologies. Blum specialises in technical solutions for furniture and innovative ways to make the most out of available space. The company was founded in 1952 in Austria and now manufactures in six countries internationally.

The showroom space is set to combine the materials of the three brands in an immersive display and working space.

Autumn may seem a long way off, but the showroom will open its doors temporarily at Clerkenwell Design Week.  Join the brands from Tuesday 21st – Thursday 23rd May for a sneak peek of what is to come, with new product displays, a series of talks and workshops, and networking events across the three-day event.
