PWS has introduced charcoal as an ex-stock colour in its successful Milbourne collection, following its widespread popularity as a paint-to-order range.

The charcoal tone takes a softer approach to pure black offering a warmer hue that blends beautifully with other materials and finishes. Retailers and manufacturers can now enjoy the benefit of purchasing the range from stock, resulting in a 15% saving at list price compared to the paint-to-order option – based on 12 popular door sizes.

Responding to the ongoing demand for grey-painted kitchens, Milbourne Charcoal unites the enduring Shaker design ethos with the charcoal finish to create a look that’s undeniably classic in style and easy to live with. Defined by its timeless identity Milbourne Charcoal is an effective canvas to introduce contrast, demonstrated, for example, with a mellow oak worktop and crisp white wall tiles.

Comments Andrew Langford, PWS’ marketing manager: “Our decision to stock Milbourne Charcoal has been extremely well received by our customers. It already has a proven track record and given it’s now available from stock, with a 15% list price saving, it can only generate further sales revenue.

“We expect charcoal will be a stalwart of the painted kitchen colour palette for years to come. Combined with the Shaker style, this is a design that will be popular with anyone who wants quality, affordability and longevity from their kitchen scheme.”

PWS’ new charcoal finish joins the successful line-up of stocked Milbourne colours, including alabaster, almond, chalk, partridge grey, sage and stone, with a further 17 colours on a paint-to-order basis. An in-frame option is also available in the Milbourne design, with a 24-strong colour palette.
