Innovation and inspiration will lay in store for visitors from the international furniture and furnishings trade at ZOW in Bad Salzuflen, Germany next month – an important event for the furniture and kbb industry.

From 10-13th February halls 20 to 22 of the East Westphalian trade fair centre will once again welcome exhibitors and visitors from around the world. This year with it not being an Interzum year, all branches of the industry will be represented at the trade fair and many leading exhibitors, as well as hidden champions, are booked in for 2014. They include such companies as Hettich, Siro Camar, Ostermann and Schüco, Niemann, Senoplast and Alpi. However annoying visitors may have found the absence of some players in 2013, this will be rectified in 2014.

In addition to being a nirvana for new products and innovations, ZOW is something of an Eldorado for contract furnishers, shopfitters, interior designers and designers in general. ZOW offers these groups the complete range of creative concepts – as well as reliable suppliers to go with them. S

pecial areas devoted to RFID and lightweight construction will once again play an important part in Bad Salzuflen and a first for ZOW this year will be a special show to focus on the plastics industry. ZOW[K] will present companies, products and solutions from the plastics processing industry, within the framework of ZOW 2014.

Visitors will notice a difference in the layout of the floor this year, and the fact that there is a more compact three hall design (two floors in hall 22) this year. Instead of the rigid booth sizes prescribed in past years, ZOW exhibitors have been able to negotiate and plan their areas in a much more individual way for the first time this year.
