Most trade shows have taglines and often they result from whimsical or wishful thinking, designed in order to generate interest. However, this year’s kbb Birmingham, organised by UBM, runs under the moniker: ‘Where smart design and inspiration drive business’ – and this phrase is very well chosen as it accurately describes just how innovative the kbb design and manufacturing process has become in recent years. And for the UK, there is nowhere better than kbb Birmingham to celebrate this.

Running from 2nd-5th March, kbb Birmingham at the NEC will play host to the brightest brands in the kitchen and bathroom business. Over 300 exhibitors ranging from design, manufacturing and visualisation software to the latest designer bathroom fittings; high-performance cabinet fittings to must-have surfacing options, there is a broad church of products and services to interest visitors.

A diverse collection of British and international brands will be exhibiting at the show – some of which are returning  to kbb Birmingham, some of which will be making their debut –  giving visitors plenty of choice and solutions to fit every budget. In addition to the myriad exhibitors showing kitchen equipment and bathroom sanitary ware, there is a host of suppliers with fittings, lighting, surfaces, materials, semi-finished components, software and a wide choice of door and cabinet manufacturers’ latest designs.

Visitors to kbb will be able to see fittings and components companies such as Blum, Salice, Hafele, BA Components, and TK Components; doors and surfacing options from PWS, Bushboard, JJ Ormerod, Westag & Getalit, Silverwood Doors, Decolan, Karonia; lighting from Sensio; tooling from Festool, wonderful wirework from Kessebohmer and software options from the likes of Logicom, Cabinet Vision, ArtiCAD and 20-20 Technologies.

Also at kbb Birmingham this year there is a free four-day seminar programme including debates, trend ideas, intellectual property, marketing, designing for the future and kitchen design and a conversation with Robert Levien entitled: 3 generations 1 bathroom.
