The distinctive features of the sixth edition of Sicam is scheduled to be held at the Pordenone Trade Fair from Tuesday 14th to Friday 17th October 2014.

Once more the trade fair’s unique format should its strength, giving it absolute value. So the trade fair event is renewed. Due to its efficiency, it is always recognised as a key marketing tool by the components and accessories sector.

Sicam has a top level and deep-rooted comprehensive exhibitor base and 85% of those who were present at the 2013 edition will return this year including many of the leading international players, in addition to many first time exhibitors.

Searching for emerging markets is Sicam’s promotional line for 2014. Exhibitors from country’s not previously present at Sicam will visit Pordenone in October, expanding the already international visitor-reach of the fair – the show attracted visitors from 94 countries from all five continents last year.

This year Sicam has an impressive schedule, going to Tehran, Las Vegas, Bangalore and then Dubai, Indonesia, and Brazil. In other words, across the board aiming to consolidate and possibly increase the roughly 35% of foreign operators recorded at the last edition held in October 2013, Germany and Russia boasting the largest number of registrations recorded. Indeed, Germany – traditionally a huge presence at Sicam – accounted for 8.65% of foreign visitors at Pordenone, while 7.83% came from Russia.

“It is understandable that it is especially decision makers of the highest levels who choose this trade fair to develop their company business,” says Carlo Giobbi, the organiser of Sicam.

“These are people whose time is precious and who cannot afford to waste it. They come to Sicam because they know they can get the utmost efficiency from the time they dedicate to their visit to the trade fair.”
