JJ Smith is holding an in-house exhibition on the 13, 14 and 15th of November at its Liverpool showrooms which will feature world-renowned machinery manufacturer, Martin.

The event will showcase for the first time in the North of England the full range of Martin classical machines that include both T65 and T75  PreX sliding-table panel saws along with two models of programmable spindle moulder, the T12 and top of the range T27 FleX Tilting.

All of these machines incorporate the very latest intuitive, colour, touch-screen control units that help assist in quick set up times and improve machining accuracy. The other Martin machines on demonstration will include the heavy-duty T54 surface planer and T45 thickness planer.

All Martin machines are available with a wide range of options that can increase the machine’s versatility, reduce set up times and also enhance operator safety. Visiting customers will be able to see at first hand the design features and build quality that Martin machines are now famous for throughout the world.

To compliment the two models of programmable spindle moulders there will also be on show a Saomad Evolution fully- programmable single-end tenoner and Centauro BETA CNC mortiser. Several UK joinery companies have already installed this production cell of three, key quick-set machines which has helped improve productivity, flexibility and quality. This will be the first time all three machines will have been on show together in the UK and they will be fully tooled-up for demonstration purposes so customers can see, at first hand, all the advantages that they can give.

Other equipment on demonstration will include the popular Stromab Matrix programmable cross-cut that can replace two or three manual pull-over saws, Graule and H&M haunching/notching machines, a Hocker briquetting system and Centauro ALFA NC machining centre. For solid wood edge- and face-laminating of panels, worktops, joinery section and stair parts, a 5m capacity Taylor clamp carrier system will be fully operational.

The idea of this event is to allow customers the opportunity to see some of the latest manufacturing technology in a relaxed setting were visitors have the time to inspect the machines at leisure. All off the JJ Smith staff will be on hand throughout the exhibition to offer assistance and answer questions when needed.
