Italian multi-rip saw manufacturer CML Engineering has signed a distributor agreement with Daltons Wadkin which gives the company exclusive rights to supply its entire range of multi-rip saws throughout the UK and Ireland.

The agreement was reached during a recent visit to Daltons Wadkin by Valentino Villa, the chief executive of CML.

The first machine to be despatched from Italy will be a CML J350R multi-rip with movable saws which will be one of the features of a Daltons Wadkin open day period, to be held week commencing 29th April, featuring machinery for the solid timber sector of the industry.

Francis Dalton comments: “We are delighted to have secured this agreement with Valentino, the machines fit well into our product portfolio and we look forward to showing them off for the first time during our forthcoming open days and also of course at W14 later this year.”

The CML multi-rip saw range is extensive, including many and varied specifications from the basic J250 for the smaller workshop to moving blade machines and, at the top end of the scale, double spindle edgers with capacities up to 1200mm board width and 250mm depth of cut.
