Kirkby, Liverpool new and used woodworking machinery firm, JJ Smith, enjoyed a very successful W14 exhibition with a good number of orders being placed at the show itself.

A number of machines were featured on the company’s impressive for the first time, including the Duin ProSet MW fully-programmable single end tenoner, the Matrix V high-speed programable cross-cut saw and the Intorex CNB CNC lathe – all of which attracted a great deal of interest throughout the four days of the show.

Confirming its position as a top supplier in the UK for cross-cut solutions, other automatic saws on display included the Stromab CT600 for straight or angled cuts along with a Comec TAC1 hopper-fed saw for cutting small components such as chair blocks, stair wedges, stair filler pieces etc.

Although not new to the UK, the Centauro BETA CNC mortiser and the ALFA NC milling machine, continued to be extremely popular with both machines on show being sold.

Many visitors also commented on the impressive, brand new stand design and the high impact and accessibility it gave at the show, with the slogan of ‘ Making Technology Work You’ hitting home with many customers both old and new.
