Holz-Her’s state-of-the-art range of panel processing machines are now represented along the South Coast by expert woodworking machinery dealer Nick Groves of Grovewood Machines.
The Holz-Her equipment range includes high quality CNC routers and machining centres, edgebanders which feature Holz-Her’s patented Glu Jet System, pressure beam saws and vertical panel saws, as well as the Holz-Her Evolution; a compact vertical CNC requiring only 5m2 of floor space and has up to 35% shorter machining cycles. As the geographically exclusive representative for the south coast, Grovewood Machines now offers Holz-Her machines to manufacturers and craftsmen alike from Kent down to Cornwall.
Grovewood’s Nick Groves says: “With its 100 year heritage, world class engineering and reputation for quality and innovation, this is a great opportunity for us to bring Holz-Her’s full range of machines directly to customers in our area. We offer specialist advice and solutions to suit all panel processing and woodworking needs, and Holz-Her’s high quality products fit perfectly with Grovewood.”
“We want to bring regional Holz-Her support and expertise to manufacturers in the South Coast area,” says Weinig UK managing director Malcolm Cuthbertson. “Grovewood’s long experience and personal approach enable us to do this. Coupled with the Weinig Group’s guarantee for installation, warranty and servicing, this is an excellent partnership for customers.”
The appointment of Grovewood as Holz-Her’s first authorised dealer is a significant step for the company; more regional support is on the way. Malcolm continues: “We are looking at creating a Holz-Her agent network in other areas of the UK to provide the same local interaction that Grovewood offers.
“Here, the next step is to install a Holz-Her showroom machine for Grovewood. We don’t ask for a financial contribution to make this happen; it is in support of their commitment to Holz-Her, and is part of building a long-term trusting relationship.
“We hope to offer the same geographical exclusivity and practical support to other agents we might work with throughout the rest of the UK.”
