The IT team at Wren Kitchens headquarters – The Nest – at Barton-upon-Humber, is seeking new developers to join its team.

Wren Kitchens is launching an IT Academy with the hope of attracting nearly 50 new employees to support the expansion of its in-house IT function.

Based at Barton-upon-Humber, Wren, has recently been crowned the best place to work and aims to continue to be at the forefront of the industry with innovative software and technology, focussing on almost doubling its IT capacity over the next year.

The 12-week initiative is aimed at talented graduates with IT degrees or motivated individuals looking to diversify into the industry. The role will support a whole host of ground-breaking projects from state-of-the-art virtual reality, to the industry leading CAD based planner system and mobile applications. 

The first-phase of the quarterly programme will see 12 graduates (six PHP Developers and six JavaScript Developers) start on August 5th based at The Nest, Wren’s contemporary headquarters.

To further enhance the team, Wren is also looking to recruit 10 new Senior PHP and JavaScript Developers with at least three years’ experience in either field.

There are over 1600 people based at Wren’s headquarters working in various roles including customer services, marketing, manufacturing, HR, finance and property.
