Following the enormous success of previous inhouse exhibitions, Daltons Wadkin has announced dates for their Autumn event, 28-30th September to be held at its impressive Nottingham showroom. The Wood & Panel Machinery Show will showcase the latest equipment from leading European manufacturers including Salvador crosscut saws, Kimla CNC routers, Elcon vertical saws, Altendorf panel saws, Stenner band resaws and classical equipment from Wadkin and SCM.

“We receive excellent customer feedback from our in-house exhibitions,” comments managing director Alex Dalton. “In the absence of other national exhibitions this year we think it is more important than ever to host a spectacular event where visitors can see live demonstrations on the latest solid timber and panel processing equipment in a safe environment.”

This year’s show will be the largest ever comprising a wide range of industrial machinery for processing solid timber, panels, composites, plastics, non-ferrous metals and more. “We are proud to be sole distributors in the UK and Ireland for some of the industries key brands,” enthuses Alex.

“The show gives our customers the opportunity to see equipment in action and discuss their own requirements with product experts.”

Cutting edge technology is spearheaded by two Kimla CNC machines featuring the latest linear drive systems. The option replaces traditional rack and pinion drives resulting in faster working speeds, a resolution of one nanometre and accuracy of five micrometres per metre.

Crosscutting is a significant theme of this year’s show featuring no fewer than eight different models. New for 2021 are two models from crosscut experts Salvador; SuperUp and SuperPus 150. The all new SuperUp is the latest design of semi-automatic crosscut saw, replacing the Classic range. The new SuperPush 150 is an evolution in crosscutting combining the compact form factor of a manual machine with the programmable power of an automatic optimising crosscut saw.

The market leading Salvador SuperPush 200 and SuperAngle 600 programable optimising saws will be joined by radial arm saws from Graule, Wadkin and SCM.

SCM equipment is a new addition to the Daltons Wadkin already impressive portfolio having been appointed official agents for the Italian manufacturer earlier this year. On show will be a selection of panel saws, spindle moulders, planers, wide belt sanders and other classical equipment from the range.

Panel saw technology moves pretty fast – if you don’t stop to look around once in a while you could miss it. Wheather you are processing timber based panels, composites, plastics, GRP, SIPs or non-ferrous metal we have a solution for you. A range of Elcon vertical panel saws and Altendorf sliding table saws will be available for demonstration.

Daltons Wadkin says more information will be available closer to the opening. Stay up to date by following Daltons Wadkin online.
