Screwfix, the omnichannel trade retailer, has been recognised as “Retailer of the Year” at the UK Green Business Awards, the highly esteemed event that celebrates the many ways in which green economy is at the heart of the country.

The award was presented at a special event held on 12th June at The Brewery in London. Screwfix received the recognition for their efforts to slash environmental impacts and promote greener products and behaviours right across their value chain.

The omnichannel retailer was also highly commended in the category “Circular Economy Project of the Year” for its “Refurb by Screwfix” initiative, which adopts a circular economy business model, enabling a more circular flow of resources.
