With the motto ‘Surface Meeting Point’, Kleiberit presents the latest developments in surface finishing with the innovative HotCoating technology. With a complete finishing line, live demonstrations will show what HotCoating has new to offer – whether in the furniture or flooring industry.

Whether super matt or high gloss surfaces, with this new technology, also in combination with the digital print process, there are virtually no limits concerning design variety and technical requirements – above all with measurable benefits in regards to cost savings and quality criteria. A gloss level of 90 points – measuring 60° degrees – can be produced with one application without interim sanding included.

Depending on specifications, such as flooring, abrasion resistance up to AC5 can be achieved with a relatively low coat weight in addition to high impact resistance, transparent or colour effect through pigmentation. The universal adhesion to decorative papers, digitally printed surfaces or wood allows for diverse and individual applications and design possibilities.

Depending on use, the HotCoating process offers savings of up to approximately 30% in comparison to the standard lacquer process.

Additional topics include PUR hotmelt adhesives for transparent foil lamination with extremely high initial strength, further developments for three dimensional high gloss foil lamination with polyurethane-based dispersion adhesives from the Supratherm series as well as PUR hotmelt adhesives for edgebanding with no joint and highest heat and moisture resistance.

Kleiberit’s approximately 500m² booth, B65 in Hall 26, provides space for practical demonstrations and personal dialogue with specialists.

Kleiberit Adhesives, based in Weingarten, Baden, produces approximately 40,000 tons of adhesives per year and has about 450 employees worldwide.  The main customers are the furniture industry, wood and plastic processing trades, automotive and filter industry, construction, paper/textile industry as well as shipbuilding.
