Kronospan has added nine acrylic gloss trends to its Kronodesign range to reflect the growing global popularity of high-end polished interior finishes.

Kronospan’s nine new trends take in a wide spectrum of surface tones, from the understated and elegant to the glamorous and sensational.

All Kronodesign’s surface colour choices have been informed by the team’s endless global journey to gather interior trend intelligence and future market knowledge.

All of the nine new designs have been exclusively developed, which means designers are assured that when they work with Kronospan’s Acrylic Gloss trends their project will be part of an exclusive club.

Paul Duddle, global ambassador for Kronodesign, says: “Having started out as an exclusive feature within high-end interior projects, acrylic gloss is now part of the mainstream. The obvious room is the kitchen but throughout 2014 gloss furniture, interior walls and doors - complemented by a second softening tone like wood grain - are finding their way into other parts of our living spaces.”

Acrylic gloss gives designers a deeper colour dimension with high resistance to scratching and wear. Kronospan’s new colour palette includes Front White (P101), Metallic Anthracite (P164), Black (P190), Magnolia (P514), Sahara (P522), Verde (P568), Mauve (P516), Intensive Red (P532) and Wine Red (P577).

The acrylic gloss has an MDF core and is sized 2,800 x 1,300 x 18.6 mm. Samples are available and the range is stocked within Kronospan’s UK factory in Chirk, North Wales.
