Lighting systems manufacturer, Gera Leuchten, demonstrated its exclusive illuminated furniture at imm Cologne recently, which showed how designers and manufacturers can create extraordinary interior designs by uniting lighting and load-bearing functions.
“With our products, we offer sophisticated functionality with a double interior-design benefit. This enables our customers to raise their room lighting design to a completely new level,” explains Thomas Ritt, designer and product manager at Gera Leuchten.
As a component of an item of furniture, the Gera lighting influences both the atmosphere of the object itself and the mood of the entire room.
The lighting colour of the LEDs used can be controlled and – thanks to the integrated ScanAndLight function – these can correspond with each other and, if desired, with daylight.
