TM Machinery offers an exclusive range of AL-KO’s mobile dust extraction systems including the 120, 140, 160, 200, 250, 300 and 350+ Power Unit models

For those looking for a dust extraction solution that offers German build quality, powerful filtration and fuss-free installation, then AL-KO’s mobile Pure Air dust extraction systems could be the ideal solution.

Distributed exclusively in the UK by dust extraction and woodworking machinery specialist, TM Machinery, AL-KO’s Power Unit range, which comprises eight standard Pure Air models ranging in size, filter type and extraction capacities, has been designed to extract dust from multiple woodworking machines simultaneously.

With a nominal motor rating of 7.49kW, maximum flow rating of 6000m3/h and built-in briquette press, the Power Unit 300P-BP offers powerful extraction and functionality in a compact size of just 2985 x 1352 x 2803mm

They also offer excellent performance when used as a decentralised unit to boost an already-existing stationary extraction system.

Models may be compact in size – the smallest measuring just 1178 x 650 x 1973mm – but each unit includes a whole host of design and technical features created with impressive performance, low energy consumption and simple handling in mind.

The Power Unit range’s innovative design centralises around a large air surge tank that incorporates AL-KO’s revolutionary AL-KO Opti Jet®, a unique, high-performance filter system that offers optimum filter cleaning whist using the least amount of compressed air possible. GS- and H2-marked, each unit also includes energy-efficient motors – tested to IE2 standard – and guarantees 100% air recirculation without loss of temperature (residual dust <0.1mg/m3).

The Power Unit 160P features a 160mm extraction nozzle with a nominal motor rating of 2.2kW/3Ph. It offers a maximum flow rate of 2000 m3/h, a filter area of 9.1m2 and a swarf collection capacity of 165L/241L. It also boasts a sound level of just 69 dB(A)

An integrated pre-separator, extendible control system and sound-insulated air recirculation (for optimum noise emission values) are incorporated into the design, with larger models also featuring a low-maintenance automatic fire extinguishing system with manual and automatic operation and a PLC control as standard.

Filter bags made from antistatic polyester needle felt material (BGIA-tested for dust class M) with snap ring locks and an ergonomically shaped clamping lever for simple container locking complete the all-encompassing design, which is delivered ready for connection.

Additional products in the range include an AL-KO briquette press and rotary valve, jet stream vacuums, AST 1.0 Basic sanding table and a range of accessories include automatic machine start detection, shut off gates with automatic activation and demand driven control via frequency converters.

AL-KO will also be exhibiting at Ligna 2019 in hall 12, stand D15.
