A creative young Australian design studio, GSBN, is looking for a manufacturing partner to co-operate with on the development and production of its Two Fold product, a transformable furniture unit ideal for use across a broad range of contract applications.

The Sydney-based design studio specialises in transformable architecture, industrial design and multi-faceted spaces. The founding partners, Henry Goodwin, Robert Scarfone and Alessandro Belgiorno-Nettis, established the studio as a vessel to explore and create a built environment that feeds off their passion for machines and movement.

Its Two Fold product is ideal for a range of applications including hospitality and leisure, education, office, the property rental market and multi-residential living.

In a restaurant for instance, Two Fold allows for venues to transform from a seated, table-service space to a standing bar-like area. Two Fold overcomes the awkwardness of other folding chair and folding table assemblies by utilising a neat, single counter-balanced movement.

Initial feedback in Australia has been positive from a number of designers as well as on social media locally. This prompted the Sydney business to submit an Australian Patent Application.

“Now that the furniture is Patent Pending, we are looking to partner with a manufacturer who is interested in further developing Two Fold for use in education, multi-residential living and other areas of design and construction,” explains Alessandro.

The company’s website features clear images of the product’s attributes and a video showing its clever transformational quality.
