Advanced Machinery Services, the Wadkin Bursgreen trademark owners, are one of the few companies in the UK, that offers a Multi-Rip Saw range specialised for the timber, sawmill and timber-framed house industries. The range is also perfect for the larger joinery and door manufacturers looking to increase production.

The Wadkin Bursgreen 120 Multi-Rip Saw has a robust body designed with a mainly cast iron frame – ideal for softwood or hardwoods – and a precision saw arbor for clean and smooth cutting.

It has a high-volume capacity machining, with automatic lubrication on the chain conveyor and powered rise and fall adjustment.

Service director Gary Lane said: ”This WB120 machine has a strong 50hp motor which helps cut through any hardwoods. It’s the ease of operation, quality and the safety features what makes it stand out from other manufactures. Increased productivity will be seen straight away.”

He continued: “We also offer a WB150 Multi-Rip which has the capacity to cut material up to 150mm depth. It is fitted with a variable speed controller as standard and powered rise and fall helps this machine to be extremely user friendly!”

Along with the manufacturer, AMS has also developed special training courses to enable its customers to use them confidently and speed up the setting process.

Key features of the WB 120 include  three anti-kickback fingers (bottom/top/top) for protection, a locking system for access door to the saw blade, a 3m laser line projector, a conveyor controlled by 2hp inverter, and  an electrical cabinet including relay, emergency stop and power lock.

The whole range is available to view at the company’s impressive Leicestershire showroom, where visitors will be able to see, touch, try and ask questions. Taking the appropriate precautions, AMS added a number of sanitiser stations around the factory to make sure that customers, employees and suppliers are protected all the time.
