Roundel specialises in the design, planning and installation of bespoke kitchens, bedrooms and bathroom furniture for major house builders across the UK. Substantial investment in new product sourcing, together with the use of modern technology and manufacturing techniques, has enabled Roundel to remain at the forefront of the market.

In support of ongoing development to manufacture more of its own kitchen and bedroom doors – rather than being dependent on outside suppliers – the company recently invested in the matrix clamp displayed by Lamont on the JMJ stand at W12.

Roundel’s Roy Ramshaw comments: “We already manufacture a significant number of doors through various manufacturing processes. However, we had recently designed a specialised, more upmarket door, and I needed a clamping system to be able to produce them.

“We carried out a lot of research via magazines, websites and trade connections, speaking to companies that we have known over many years. We were able to whittle it down to a small number of people who could supply what we needed.

“We had been reluctant to go to W12 as it has diminished over the years, but as we surveyed the websites of who did what, we noticed Lamont would be there, as well as two or three other companies I was interested in. As it turned out, it was the right show at the right time.”
