Miller McKenzie is proud to become a member of the British Woodworking Federation (BWF).
Having experienced significant growth in its specialist area of Timber and Forest Products Recruitment, Miller McKenzie recently launched a dedicated Manufactured Joinery division to deal with the increasing demand from this thriving sector. With its acceptance into the BWF, Miller McKenzie is hoping to continue making an impact and consolidate its position as the industry’s leading Recruitment Company.
Simon Newman, MD of Miller McKenzie, says: “We are delighted to be welcomed as a member of the BWF and look forward to working more closely with the federation and its members as we continue to expand our Manufactured Joinery division. The BWF offers a great deal of value to its members, through advice and resources, and we hope our services and experience will provide an additional benefit.
“The BWF is a champion of quality and standards in the Manufactured Joinery Industry and we share these values. We are proud to associate with an organisation dedicated to strengthening the industry and look forward to developing our relationship with the BWF for years to come."
The BWF is the voice of the £3.4b woodworking and manufactured joinery industry in the UK, representing its members, promoting growth of the industry and influencing the development of legislation and product standards on a national and international scale.
Michael Lee, BWF membership director, says: “We are delighted to welcome Miller McKenzie into membership of the BWF. They play an important role in bringing excellent talent into our vibrant and innovative sector and we look forward to working with them to achieve a shared vision of an industry workforce of the highest calibre."
Miller McKenzie is looking forward to building relationships with fellow BWF members, starting by exhibiting at the upcoming BWF Members Day Conference at Whittlebury Hall, Towcester on Thursday 23rd April 2015, where it will present a 60 minute workshop titled ‘Talent Matters: recruitment at the heart of your business plan.’
