The event will run from 10-15th April 2014, alongside the Milan Furniture Trade Fair – an exhibition that will attract a greater number of international platers to Rimini interested in the many solutions that the SCM Group can offer manufacturers.

Providing an effective way to meet both existing and future customers, representatives and distributors, the show will act as a comprehensive showcase of the many solutions and technologies that make up the ‘SCM Universe’, from the simplest machines for craftsmen to the most complex ‘Batch One’ highly-productive machines lines or the very latest CNC machinery.

In oder to provide a more in-depth look into the huge array of solutions on offer, The Home Event will focus on four themed ‘tech tours’: Furniture, Timber Construction, Windows and Doors, and Custom-made Furniture. Each ‘tech tour’ will feature meetings with SCM’s experts, visits to the group’s many factories and to the production sites of some of SCM’s major customers specialising in all types  of applications.

The 3000m² showroom in Rimini will be the heart of the event, and will be filled with more than 60 machines and production cells for the duration of the exhibition. Special events and specialist presentations will also be organised at the production facilities at Villa Verucchio and Rimini, and at Thiene for those requiring edge banding machinery.

The star location of the event, meanwhile, will be the Salone del Mobile in Milan, where SCM Group's technologies will be featured thanks to strong partnerships with some prestigious clients, including Riva 1920 and the Falegnameria di San Patrignano.

Customers and partners are welcome to The Home Event, and are invited to get to know how and where the industry-leading SCM Group's technology is born from a new perspective – from the technical design stage to the organisation of production, from international trade expertise to meetings with those responsible for managing service and maintenance.
