A team from the Felder Group UK have entered the 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for the charity Action Medical Research for Children. Felder’s team of Mathew Applegarth, Steve Pike, Richard Hird, James Mason, Ben Cook and Russell Jones will attempt to conquer Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden in less than 24 hours.

Beginning on the morning on the 5th July at the foot of Ben Nevis, the team will trek approximately 25 miles, ascending over 11,000 feet and driving at total of nearly 500 miles between each peak.

Felder Group UK chief executive, Matthew Applegarth comments: “Over the past few years certain children of our some of our staff members have required specialist medical treatment because of premature birth or illness. The end of 2013 proved particularly difficult for one of our team.

This prompted us to raise money for more paediatric medical research in the hope that such situations can be prevented in the future and the 3 Peaks Challenge, organised by Action Medical Research for Children provided us with the ideal goal”.
