Leading spray booth and drying systems specialist Gallito has been acquired by dust and fume extraction company, Dust Control Systems. Based in Wetherby, West Yorkshire, Gallito has been designing, manufacturing and installing product finishing systems for a wide range of industries since 1976.

Philip Oldfield, managing director of DCS says: “The acquisition of Gallito provides us with a broader product offering in the markets we already serve. Having dealt with Gallito for many years, we know how well designed and produced their products are and what a good team of people they have in place. Gallito will continue to operate from its existing premises and with much the same work force.”

Mike Stephenson, who had owned and managed the business since it was first established, has now retired. Taking his place is newly-appointed general manager, Ian Ward who joins Gallito from DCS where he had held a key position for six years.

The vital role of project manager remains with Steve Raine, who has been with the company for 18 years. Steve is well known in the industry and has a breadth of expertise and experience in all aspects of paint finishing systems.
