Woodworking and joinery firms across the country are being reminded to get their entries in this week for the BWF annual awards, before the last chance deadline of Friday 18th July.

There are four awards up for grabs this year, including the prestigious Technical Excellence and Innovation Award, the Apprentice / Trainee of the Year Award, and a new Process Efficiency Award for firms that have found clever solutions which enhance the performance of their business. And following the launch of BWF’s Health & Safety Hero initiative, joiners are also encouraged to enter for the Health & Safety Hero Award to showcase what they are doing to implement zero tolerance to accidents in the workplace.

The BWF Awards dinner is always a very popular event and will be held this year at the Ironmongery Livery Hall in London on Friday 21st November.

All member firms nominated for an award will receive a free place at the awards dinner. Further entry details are available here: http://www.bwf.org.uk/choose-wood/awards
