SCA Approved by the BWF

SCA Timber Supply UK is celebrating its recent BWF-CERTIFIRE accreditation to supply Fire Door Casings and Linings.

Already an approved supplier of BWF-CERTIFIRE Door Casings and Linings from its Stoke-on-Trent production line, SCA is now permitted to supply certified products from its planing facilities in Melton, Hull.

The BWF-CERTIFIRE Scheme is the leading authority on fire door safety. Members provide a range of certificated products to ensure that all involved in the specification, installation, inspection and use of fire doors are confident that certified products are fit for purpose.

The accreditation process requires all members of the scheme to be rigorously assessed and audited, providing specifiers with the added security and confidence in the products being selected.

MD John Griffiths comments: “We currently produce over 850,000 casing and lining sets per year for our builders’ merchant and DIY customers. This approval from the BWF helps to further strengthen supply of these products to service our expanding customer base.”
