The date for ZOW - the international fair for suppliers to the furniture and interior design industries is being changed for 2016.
The sector event of the furniture supply industry, - held in Bad Salzuflen, Germany - will now run from Tuesday, 16th February to Friday, 19th February 2016.
"This step is being taken in response to the requests made by the exhibitors and trade visitors. The rescheduling of the event will prevent the show from coinciding with both the "public holidays" in the Rhineland for Carnival celebrations and skiing holidays in South Germany and in some neighbouring states", explains the show management.
IN addition, the experienced Frank Haubold will successively take over the running of ZOW from Horst Rudolph.
As of 1st April 2015, Frank Haubold joined Clarion Events Deutschland, Bielefeld, as the company’s new portfolio director.
In this role, he will be responsible for the business events ZOW – the international fair for suppliers to the furniture and interior design industries. At the same time, Haubold is to succeed current director Horst Rudolph (59), who will hand over his tasks and responsibilities before leaving the company during the course of the year.
“I am very pleased that Frank Haubold will be following in my footsteps and I am certain that we have solved the issue of succession planning in optimal fashion by hiring him.” states Horst Rudolph.
During his many years as a project manager and his subsequent position as divisional managing director of Kölnmesse GmbH, Haubold got Interzum back on the rails by deploying innovative special formats. Furthermore, he played an instrumental role in the future-oriented establishment of imm cologne with new themes and formats, which served to increase the attractiveness of the event and to draw new exhibitors to the Rhine.
“Trade shows are made with and by people”, says Haubold. “I am now, therefore, all the more delighted to be able to bring my experience to bear in the development, organisation and implementation of Clarion-Events.”
