The event gives delegates the opportunity to visit the testing site in Stevenage and understand more about the research association, and the commercial provider (FIRA International). Starting at 09.45, the agenda includes: an overview of the work of the Furniture Industry Research Association and its service provider FIRA International; Furniture testing and the FIRA Gold certification schemes; the importance of ergonomics; Consultancy and research services within FIRA; Sustainability and the work of the Furniture Industry Sustainability Project (FISP); and Furniture aftercare with FIRA’s Service Technicians department.
