While a meeting point for many UK customers, the focus was on the range of timber frame equipment that it sells worldwide.

All of JJ Smith’s principle suppliers were in attendance who all reported  the show was a great success. Intorex had its range of TMC five-axis CNC machining centres on demonstration, along with a CKX Plus CNC lathe, all of which attracted a good level of interest, with several orders confirmed on the stand.

Comec Group had a comprehensive display of CNC machinery for a varied range of applications including furniture parts and door parts, while MZ Project had on demonstration its CNC bandsaw linked with a robot arm for unloading.

For crosscutting, there was the Cursal machines featuring automatic loading and unloading, while from Stromab there was a CT600F fully-programmable angled crosscut saw with in-built trenching.
