Excitement ensues with the arrival of two brand new pieces of CNC machinery – Lawcris’ manufacturing department is now better prepared than ever for assisting furniture production.

Lawcris has achieved recognition as one of the leading specialists in the processing of wood-based panel products. Their manufacturing is split over two sites providing cut, edged and machined components as well as bonding requirements.

As trends evolve and timeframes become shorter, Lawcris has continually invested in high quality machinery in order to expand its Creative CNC department and meet customer demand.

Following the boost in performance levels and success of its previous purchases – two beam saws and an edge-slitting machine – this year is no different, as the company invests £500k in more brand new state-of-the art machinery in order to provide the best service possible.

The arrival and installation of a new BHX500 multi-borer with hedgehog feeder is the icing on the cake for the CNC department, allowing them to offer an even greater variety of service to their customers with shorter lead times. In particular, this machine is ideal for creating cabinetry components in a swift and efficient manner.

The Homag KAL370 single-sided edgebander with a PUR glue system will also be a most welcomed piece of kit. Both are from recognised CNC machinery experts, Homag.

Safe, reliable and technically cutting-edge machinery make Lawcris the ideal extension for customers who need extra capacity.

Stuart Hall, Creative CNC general manager, says “It’s so important to listen to our customers’ needs. Speed, accuracy and quality are the key words which, thanks to this new equipment, means we can deliver on schedule to a high standard, time and time again.”

In addition to its manufacturing services, Lawcris is best known for its enormous range of decorative panels and raw boards, many of which are kept in stock for next day delivery.

Once boards have been chosen, a skilled CAD team is on hand with a wealth of knowledge, ready to create high quality drawings – the CNC machinery is directly networked into the office for a precise and reliable service.

Finally, a wide delivery network and top notch after sales support solidify Lawcris’ standing in the industry.
