At the recent W Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham, Geoff Isenman from the Woodworking Machinery Suppliers Association (WMSA) explained how, once again, one of the industry’s most important trade associations had come out in force demonstrating a strong commitment to the industry’s top live event.

According to Geoff, the WMSA’s members were responsible for the majority of machinery exhibitors at the show – over 60% was on display by the association’s member companies.

At the show, the WMSA published a colour-coded floorplan showing the representation of its members.

“As part of our marketing promotion at the W Exhibition,” explains Geoff, “we asked members to produce tote bags featuring their company logo alongside the WMSA logo to give away at the show. Some 20 WMSA companies supported this initiative producing over 3500 tote bags in. In addtion to the tote bags. A unique CNC ‘tree’ was created to display the bags.
