As regular readers will know, Advanced Machinery Services is a service company that sells woodworking machines from the renowned Wadkin Bursgreen brand. It is also a worldwide supplier of spare parts/service/machines/tooling, as well as offering training courses across the industry.

Looking forward, Steve McGloin, AMS managing director, says: “In 2019, we are going to add two new exciting machines to our range. In four weeks’ time, the new machines will be available exclusively from AMS for demonstrations in our showroom.

“One of them is a heavy duty top quality multi rip saw and the other a straight line edger.”

AMS comments it had been looking for these two machines for some time and has now found exactly what it requires. The company also continues to have four-, five-, six- and seven-head moulders available in the showroom.

Naturally, this expanded portfolio has increased the need for additional technical and mechanical engineers to work around the UK and in its impressive Leicestershire workshops.

The AMS directors say: “We want to increase our team by six because we have expanding sales and service contracts and we like to be ensuring that after purchase, the machines are serviced and supported to keep them in perfect condition and ready to run for many years.”

One of the strongest markets for AMS is its spare parts and tooling division. Director Steve Foster comments: “We want to make things easier for our customers, therefore we have put a lot of emphasis on easy navigation routes for our website.
