The BFM Fabric Show London 2022 is gearing up to welcome buyers in the international furniture community to this year’s B2B event. This year, the event is taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday, 8th and 9th March at the ILEC Conference Centre, near to Earls Court.

Here, Sean Holt, MD of the event organiser, the British Furniture Manufacturers, answers some questions about the show.

Who is the event aimed at?

The exhibition will provide the opportunity for buying professionals to source high quality, contemporary fabrics for upholstery, bed, and soft furnishings.

What can I expect to see at the show?

Almost 50 UK and international prestigious fabric suppliers will be showcasing their latest collections, best sellers and exclusive options - featuring world-renowned renowned fabric manufacturers and suppliers from Belgium, as well as Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Germany and the UK.

Fabrics on show include wools, tweeds, velvets, cottons, linens, chenilles, silks, leathers, faux leathers, backing fabrics and FR treatments. The latest fabric protection and cleaning treatments will also be presented

The event has moved for 2022. What is the reason behind that?

The selection of a new venue – the ILEC Conference Centre, near to Earls Court - has given us increased floorspace to host more stands at the event.

The BFM Fabric Show London has previously operated at capacity, so the extra space the ILEC Conference Centre offers has enabled us to include more exhibitors this year, so we can expand the scope of products on display and make the show even more compelling for buyers to visit.

As a result of that decision, we’ve seen a great deal of interest in the 2022 event and the number of exhibitors has increased by 30 per cent compared to previous years.

That means international buyers will have more choice and opportunities than ever to see high-end fabrics from some of the best mills, weavers and suppliers in Europe.

Who is exhibiting?

How do I get a ticket?

As a hosted, premium B2b event, we are making sure that the show is targeted firmly at buying professionals. To ensure this, the show is a hosted, invite-only exhibition.
