This year’s exhibition will include automatic cross-cutting and CNC technology, classical machinery, vertical panel saws, sliding table saws and more from leading European manufacturers including SCM, Altendorf, Kimla, Salvador, Elcon and Stenner.

“Our previous shows have proved a great success with customers”, comments managing director, Alex Dalton. “UK national exhibitions are still a way off. Our machinery portfolio continues to go from strength to strength with the introduction of new brands and product lines that we have carefully selected for maximum benefit to the end user. We can’t wait to show it all off”!

Salvador, in partnership with Daltons Wadkin, have a proven track record in revolutionising furniture and joinery manufacturing through the installation of automatic and semi-automatic crosscut saws increasing yield, reducing skilled labour, and boosting productivity. Visitors will be able to see live demonstrations on the high speed SuperPush 250 model with chain infeed and automatic outfeed system, the innovative power of the all new SuperPush 150, the versatility of the SuperAngle 600 for angle crosscutting, and the latest range of semi-automatic SuperUp saws.

Kimla’s flag ship CNC router, the BPF Industrial will give customers the opportunity to see first hand what advantages this type of technology can bring to any workshop. Equipped with a large format vacuum bed, advantageous 400mm Z axis clearance, versatile oscillating knife head and the latest PC-CAM CAD/ CAM/ Nesting software, visitors will be able to witness a wide range of materials being processed including wood based panels, plastics, foam, rubber, non-ferrous metals and composites.

Panel processing solutions including sliding table saws and vertical panel saws will also be exhibited, giving customers an objective view of the pros and cons of each cutting method. In addition to traditional panel saws from Altendorf, the brand new eye-S control system from SCM will be exhibited. With a large colour multi-touch screen, eye-S gives operators an intuitive control over all powered machine settings and can be used in combination with the cut sequencer function for complex machining. Wifi and USB connectivity allows for 4.0 integration and futureproofing.

The Elcon 155DSXL wall saw will showcase a host of features available across the range including pneumatic head plunge and tilt, electronic digital readouts, deep 80mm plus cutting depth and Elcon’s patented LIMPIO dust extraction system. For maximum extraction efficiency the LIMPIO system includes a rear dust capture tray with its own secondary extraction point that travels directly behind the saw head whether cutting vertically or horizontally. The point of cut is almost totally enclosed, with the machine extracting dust from both sides of the cut. Dust emission values are reduced to less than 0.5mg/m3 when connected to a suitable extraction system.

More products will announced over the coming weeks including band resaws, edgebanders, spindle moulders, planers, moulders, mortisers, bandsaws, radial arm crosscut saws and more.

The show will run across three days, 4th to 6th October, 9am to 4:30pm. Visitors are requested to make an appointment where possible to ensure demonstration availability
