Simon delivering Refresher Training at Wadkin Bursgreen Academy

Advanced Machinery Services, the Wadkin Bursgreen Trademark owners, have launched two new training courses: the Chainsaw Training and the Profile Moulder Setting and Operation Training Course to offer better and more specific training courses to the woodworking industry.

The Wadkin Bursgreen woodworking machinery training academy is in Leicestershire but they can deliver training all over the UK and Ireland. You have the ability to have the training in your own workshop or in their academy showroom in Skeffington (Leicestershire)

Phil, the Wadkin Bursgreen training academy trainer said: “We launched a new course recently; A Chainsaw Training Course and it got a very warm welcome from the Timber industry. Also, we are working on profile and straight knife grinder training courses.

“We deliver top class, customised courses on moulders and grinders because our team has vast experience of working on/for Wadkin machinery and other top manufacturers machines, through my experience and along with Steve and Simon’s knowledge we have decades of experience on moulders, grinders and tooling.”

The Wadkin Bursgreen Woodworking Machinery Training Courses are 95% of the time at the machine, and 5% in the class, but it depends on site circumstances and noise levels. AMS believes it is the best method to teach people all about the woodworking machinery and they see that most of the attendees prefer it too.

AMS has improved its website to give a better customer experience, where you can access and order training courses faster and easier.

All of the company’s trainers have more than 20 years’ experience in the woodworking industry and they have a great deal of knowledge and insight in both machines and machining.

Simon, the Wadkin Bursgreen training academy trainer said: “It is a pleasure to share all my knowledge in woodworking machinery with my attendees, knowledge is only powerful if you pass it on to the next generation.

“For me, it’s very important that the woodworkers pass the training but more important is that they learn and remember what they should and they shouldn’t do when they are in their workshop. Most of our team are wood machinists and we have seen to many accidents during our careers.

“If you are in the woodworking industry, save this contact because you will need training and refresher courses. You can see the new website on this link below: www.advancedmachinery.co.uk/woodworking-machinery/training.asp. The training courses are available now and you can get more information about them by visiting the website or calling to 0844 844 9949.”
