Callum Richards has been appointed as Weinig UK’s new Area Sales Manager for the South West and South Wales. Covering Weinig and Holz-Her brands across the region, Callum will be responsible for strengthening sales and developing key relationships with new and existing customers for the leading woodworking machinery manufacturer.
With a degree in engineering and a steadfast background in business to business sales, Callum’s technical, problem-solving capabilities and sales experience make him an ideal candidate for a role in woodworking machinery sales.
Callum says: “With a background in both engineering and sales, I’m in a pretty unique position. It allows me to have a good understanding of both sides of the coin and to find solutions quickly and efficiently. From a technical stand-point, I can appreciate the workings of the machine, why each component is needed and ultimately, what benefit it has to a company’s production.
“By being able to relay this message back to the customer in a clear and concise way, I believe I will be able to help my customers get the very best results. I’m really looking forward to taking on Weinig UK’s existing territory in the South West and growing its customer base even further. This challenge really excites me and I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
