2022 was another successful year for Salvador cross-cut saws as sole UK and Ireland distributors, Daltons Wadkin, reported significant sales across all models, not least the SuperAngle 600.

The SuperAngle 600 has proved particularly popular with timber frame manufacturers, high precision joinery and staircase manufacturers as more and more customers see the potential for significant waste reduction and material optimisation. Capable of straight- and angle-cutting up to (+/-)75°, the SuperAngle 600 not only optimises the cutting list by length, but also by angle, flipping pieces as required, nesting angles to minimise waste.

As with all Salvador models, the SuperAngle 600 is well specified right out of the box with optimisation, defecting, remote cutting list programming, multi-point clamping and remote NET support all included as standard. Further customisation delivers increased processing capability with automatic chain in-feed system, conveyor out-feed with automatic piece sorting, independent drilling unit and label printing.

Another popular model for 2022 has been the Salvador SuperUp. Daltons Wadkin Sales Director, Andy Walsh, comments: “Increasingly customers are seeking advice on how to improve safety and dust extraction in their manual cross-cutting operations. For 90° cutting, the Salvador SuperUp is a fantastic semi-automatic cross-cut saw that keeps operators hands well away from the saw blade and limits workplace dust emissions with two points of dust capture.”

Compared to previous models, the new SuperUp offers a more ergonomic design, retractable front guard for easier loading and improved accessibility for maintenance and blade changing.

Blade capacities of 500-, 550- and 600mm are available with increasing cutting capacity, all available with a choice of in-feed and out-feed roller tables and stop systems.
