The Telford International Centre will host the inaugural Furniture Component Expo in April 2024

Enquiries to exhibit at next year’s FC Expo in April continue at a steady pace and the organiser – the British Furniture Manufacturer’s trade association – says ‘support from manufacturing partners is a positive sign that it will be well-attended’.

The BFM is finalising the seminar program, which will feature topics such as regulations, sustainability, and regulatory frameworks. Sustainability has been highlighted as a subject of particular interest by exhibitors and attendees.

With headline sponsors Vita Group and BeA leading the way, those thinking of exhibiting should get in touch to evaluate the options available. Other sponsorship opportunities are available, which is a great way for businesses to reach a large audience of potential customers and partners. Businesses can also book space in the seminar theatre to showcase their products or services.

Phil Spademan (pictured above) BFM’s Managing Director said: “Overall, this event is shaping up to be a valuable opportunity for businesses in the manufacturing industry.

“The seminar program will provide insights into the latest trends and developments, the Innovation Trail will showcase new products and technologies, and the industry discussion will provide a forum for businesses to share ideas and best practices. I encourage businesses supplying the manufacturing industry to register their interest and make the most of the opportunity.”

Paul James from One-Call said: “At One-Call Furniture, we work very closely with our customers and are often approached to design new and exciting cabinet furniture, which incorporates new and innovative types of mechanisms. We research the market for these new components, which sometimes takes us overseas.

“We fully support the Furniture Component Expo, not only because we are continuously looking for innovation in the marketplace, but as it is hosted in a central UK location, we can utilise our time more efficiently, reduce costs and have the potential to send more key staff to review the exhibitors in one place.”

Raf Klimek from Wren Kitchens said: “We are looking forward to attending the Telford International Centre for the Furniture Component Expo next April, to not only showcase our range of affordable luxury kitchens and bedrooms but to understand more about the latest developments from the supply chain sector. The format for the show looks well thought out and offers plenty of opportunities to Wren Kitchens. Currently there is a real gap in the market for this type of event.”

The Furniture Component Expo takes place 24-25th April at the Telford International Centre. Interested parties are advised to complete an enquiry form via the event website www.fcexpo.co.uk.
