From 3rd to 5th October, industry professionals congregated in Nottingham for Daltons Wadkin’s annual Wood & Panel Machinery Show. The turnout, which broke previous records, attested to the significance of this event in the woodworking and panel machinery sector.

Spanning a variety of fields, the attendees included furniture manufacturers and joinery experts, national timber merchants, fencing suppliers, educational establishments and government departments.

“It’s great to see so many companies looking to invest in capital equipment,” reflects Daltons Wadkin’s MD, Alexander Dalton. “Although there is some uncertainty in the market, our range of labour-saving, cost-cutting machining solutions give customers significant advantages over competitors.”

One of the standout features of this year’s exhibition was the live demonstrations. Attendees were given first-hand exposure to cutting-edge equipment like the SCM edgebanders, panel saws, and widebelt sanders with the ground-breaking Eye-S touchscreen control.

The unveiling of the all-new Kimla CNC router with linear drive technology, the compact Volter CNC router designed for mid-level production, and the impressive Salvador automatic crosscut saws further attested to Daltons Wadkin’s commitment to spearheading innovation.

For those who couldn’t make it to the grand event, Daltons Wadkin extends an open invitation. The company welcomes professionals to its Nottingham showroom for one-on-one discussions on the latest in woodworking and panel machinery. Engaging with its team is just a call or an email away, ensuring that no one misses out on the opportunities and advancements presented at the show.
