Power, precision and dust-free performance will be on full display by Mirka UK on stand 71 at the North of England Woodworking Show, 13-15th November at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre, Harrogate.
Spearheading its line-up is the Abranet® range, which over 20 years ago changed the face of sanding. It swapped the conventional paper backing for a net structure, resulting in a highly efficient on-tool dust extraction abrasive, a better finish and a cleaner, healthier workplace.
Thanks to Mirka’s patented technology, no sanding grain is ever more than 0.5mm from an extraction hole. Dust is whisked away safely, so the grains keep cutting. Abranet resists clogging and dust build-up, clears easily and gets the most out of every abrasive. Every grade delivers excellent results, and it performs best paired with Mirka’s ergonomic power tools and dust extractors.
Mirka’s next generation DEROS II and DEOS II orbital sanders now pack a long-life electric motor with 20 per cent more sanding power, making light work of heavy-duty jobs. The sanders have a clearly visible LED speed indicator, and a lockable speed setting. Connect them to the myMirka app via Bluetooth® and operators can monitor vibration levels too.
Comfort is a high priority, as the smooth-running, high-efficiency brushless motors keep noise down and reduce strain over long sanding sessions, while the compact, ergonomic design is easy to use and low maintenance.
Also on show is the Mirka® DEROS RS 600, built by Mirka’s R&D team for demanding, heavy-duty work. Its ergonomic, low-maintenance design stays comfortable over long periods, and paired with a Mirka dust extractor and dust-free abrasives, it creates a cleaner, safer workplace.
