One Call Furniture has launched One Call Components, a new UK manufacturing division created to support volume users of wood-based panels requiring consistent quality, reliable lead times and accountable domestic supply.
Operating from a newly established 130,000sqft factory near Colchester, the division will produce cut and edged panels, cabinet carcasses and assembled cabinets to customer specifications across the furniture and bedding sectors.
The new business has been established in response to growing demand for dependable UK manufacturing capacity, as furniture manufacturers increasingly review supplier risk and service performance within their supply chains. One Call Components is positioned as a service-led supplier, with senior management taking a hands-on role in operations. According to the company, this structure is intended to ensure controlled and repeatable quality at scale, alongside proactive communication around production schedules and capacity planning.
By manufacturing domestically, the company aims to offer greater stability and responsiveness for customers, reducing lead-time volatility and avoiding delays often associated with offshore sourcing.
