Wes Kangurs, who joined estate cabinetry specialist Guild Anderson in January 2025, is now to be its new Managing Director. Company founder and outgoing MD, Nick Anderson, will focus on creative output, becoming the company’s first dedicated Creative Director.
Wes joined Guild Anderson from David Salisbury where he had been Managing Director for six years. With an initial brief to bring stability to Guild Anderson after a period of rapid growth, he has since been focusing on the company’s efficiency as it continues to expand.
Alongside Wes’s promotion, Andrew Petherick is promoted to the Guild Anderson board. Joining in 2022 from luxury kitchen maker Artichoke, Andrew remains in position as the company’s Business Development Director.
“I founded Guild Anderson with my wife, Hannah, 23 years ago, and like many makers, we started in a shed with a dream and some tools,” said Nick Anderson. “We are now a company of nearly 40 people with year-on-year growth of 24% to March this year. My bandwidth is only so wide, and I am excited to be handing over the managing director reins to Wes, who has proven himself to be a calm and clear-thinking leader since joining us."
