Places have almost sold out for Timber Development UK’s Women in Timber event, which takes place on Friday, 5th September 2025, at Oulton Hall near Leeds.
Women in Timber is a brand-new initiative created to celebrate, connect and empower women across the timber sector. The one-day event will feature panel discussions, an interactive workshop and networking sessions — offering a platform for attendees to share insights, develop skills and build a supportive, inclusive community.
The day will feature a panel of leading professionals with diverse perspectives from across the timber sector. Discussions will focus on experience sharing, industry insights, and strategies for driving greater inclusion.
An interactive workshop will support professional development, while networking breaks offer opportunities to connect with peers, mentors and allies across the industry.

The event will also support the Timber Trades’ Benevolent Society, the UK charity dedicated to wellbeing and welfare in the timber community.
