Milbourne, PWS’ latest Shaker door range, is proving so successful that the company has introduced a stone finish ex-stock. The collection is currently stocked in chalk, alabaster and sage with a further palette of 21 colours available on a paint-to-order basis.

“Neutral tones, inspired by nature, are very much on trend, and the stone painted finish responds to the consumer demand for a timeless tone that can be dressed up or down, modern or country,” says Graeme Smith, senior designer at PWS.

“The simply-styled Milbourne range has a pared-down look and teamed with the stone finish is so easy to work with, as it blends effortlessly with many other materials, textures and colours.”

Milbourne, being an overpainted foil construction, is an affordable alternative to a painted timber door, however due to its visual appeal, subtle grained finish and tactile authenticity, it really has the look and feel of painted timber. It’s a credible option for those consumers with a limited budget who can still achieve the aesthetic they desire but at a price they can afford.

The Milbourne palette includes a comprehensive choice of colours from lighter neutrals, such as porcelain and trench coat grey, through to stronger tones of Hartforth blue and moleskin. Feature curved elements, including a 300mm curved door and cornice, plinth and lighting pelmet, plus glazed door designs and a selection of decorative components allow designers to add plenty of individuality to their designs..
