STB-series are developed in co- operation with their customers, the manufacturers in the commercial door industry. With the STB series, door manufacturers can stay at the forefront of technology and embrace the power of advanced high-speed CNC processing capabilities.
The STB series is a wholly new range of CNC door lines in the form of multi-axis through-feed machining centres.
The STB-FLEX combines the benefits of the Universal five-axis CNC router, with through-feed self- setting auto-tables, for machining contract doors, requiring a wide variety of processes (seals, closures, lights, as well as locks and hinges), with ever-varying batch sizes, and an even wider variety of hardware types and sizes.
Productivity is achieved by a variety of novel innovations, most notably Maka’s auto-clamping thru-feed table.
The complete process also takes care of waste and offcuts, machining out the inside of the doors too. With the FLEX, offcuts are lowered, and frames raised, separating the apertures and frames so they can be machined independently. Offcuts are separated and removed too. Even more novel, the transport works at different levels (below the line), saving time and space.
