Daltons Wadkin has grown its Support Services department over the past 12 months with several new engineers joining the team, some specific to the support of planer moulders. Daltons Wadkin is now proud to boast some 15 mechanical, electrical and CNC engineers with more growth planned for 2024.
Service Director, Cliff Sharp, has a clear focus on customer support. “The relationship with our customers is truly a partnership,” he says. “The emphasis on support and backup is clear for anyone to see. If we can’t support it, we don’t sell it. It’s as simple as that.”
Even more evident is the exponential increase in demand for certificated operator training. The Daltons Wadkin “Red Team” of dedicated trainers is now five strong. The team cover the UK and Ireland carrying out practical, hands-on training and assessment on a range of woodworking machinery, not least planer moulders. Again, as the availability of skilled workers dwindles this is an area that Daltons Wadkin see growing further over the next 12 months.
