Luxury architectural hardware brand, Croft, has launched five new finishes as part of its varied and curated portfolio.
To create a more streamlined offering, the brand has introduced the Carbon family of living finishes, incorporating three of the five new launches in dark bronze tones: Midnight Carbon, Carbon and Distressed Carbon. As part of the brand’s ongoing product development, Deep English Bronze and English Bronze have also been introduced offering a lacquered finish to slow down the ageing process of the finish.
Deep English Bronze
Steeped in natural character and understated elegance, Deep English Bronze is a brass-based finish distinguished by its rich, darkened tone and soft, subtle golden undertones. Carefully treated with a protective lacquer, the finish is designed to slow the ageing process while preserving its depth and warmth. Over time, gentle hints of the underlying brass begin to emerge, creating a beautifully layered appearance that evolves gracefully while maintaining its refined, timeless appeal.
English Bronze
English Bronze showcases a warm, inviting golden tone, enhanced by its solid brass foundation and delicate brushed detailing that adds texture and visual interest. Finished with a protective lacquer, it is crafted to slow the natural ageing process while maintaining its soft lustre and classic appearance. This finish embodies a sense of timeless English charm and sophistication, making it particularly well suited to low-usage areas where its refined character can be appreciated over time.
Carbon
Carbon presents a striking contrast between its warm bronze-toned surfaces and the carefully relieved edges that reveal the smooth satin brass beneath. Left unlacquered, this finish is treated with a light coating of beeswax, allowing it to age naturally and develop a deep, characterful patina over time. The interplay between the dark bronze body and the exposed brass edging creates a bold yet balanced aesthetic, full of depth, texture, and evolving visual interest.
Distressed Carbon
Distressed Carbon builds upon the rich, warm bronze base of the Carbon finish, featuring carefully relieved edges that expose the solid brass beneath. Midnight Carbon features a deep, solid dark bronze finish, hand-applied to a solid brass base to create a smooth and consistent appearance. Left unlacquered, it is designed to age naturally, developing a rich and characterful patina that enhances its depth over time. Finished with a light coating of beeswax, Midnight Carbon offers a bold yet refined aesthetic, with its dark tones providing a striking, contemporary feel while retaining the warmth and authenticity of natural materials.
