The Airlock Filter (AF) is Modesta’s solution to flexible dust extraction. The series, which can be connected to external systems for dust storage, silos or bags – features some seriously clever technology that ensures non-stop performance and low operational costs. From automatic air volume control and variable filter capacity to automatic built-in filter sleeve cleansing, it’s high performance partnered with its green credentials makes for an unrivalled combination.
The new Airlock Filter AF66 extraction system, which took centre stage at this year’s LIGNA, is an extension to the existing range. Designed to work in tandem with multiple machines due to its modular format, the new unit operates at high negative pressures to reduce energy consumption when in use. The system monitors the pressure inside the unit. When a blast gate opens or closes and the pressure changes, the system reacts and turns a fan on or off. No third party systems are required. It also features a compressed air cleaning system - to lower operating costs, extend lifespan and improve air quality – and inverter controlled fans for advanced performance and reduced maintenance. Plus, a dump bin with safety fence and easy-to-use control panel.
